We are currently looking for experienced Forklift Operators to join our team in Smeaton Grange. Immediate start available on a casual basis, with potential for full-time employment. Shift and penalty rates included. Shifts are available for night shift starting at 10:00pm A day in the life of a Forklift Operator; Operation of Forklift Machines RF Scanning Picking Orders Loading and unloading trucks Quality control Flexibility to work overtime hours as and when required Awareness and high regards in food safety, quality assurance and HACCP About you To be successful in this role you will be required to have the following. Hold a current forklift licence (high risk) Experience driving counterbalance forklift (high reach advantageous) Ability to load/unload trucks and customer vehicles in a Warehouse environment. Basic computer skills. Excellent ability to work independently as well as in a team. Able to work in a temperature-controlled environment between 2 - 4 degrees. Skills And Experiences Valid forklift license Prior experience in operating forklifts in a logistics or warehouse environment Ability to work efficiently and safely during night shifts Good understanding of health and safety regulations related to forklift operations Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling goods and materials Capability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team Physical capability to perform the duties of a forklift operator, including lifting and moving heavy items
